Sustained

The same grace that saved you is the same grace that will sustain you.
I define grace as God's supernatural empowerment. It is God's grace that woke us up this morning. God's grace gives you strength when you feel like giving up. It is God's grace that helps us seek him. The remarkable thing about God is that he gives us instructions, and with those instructions, he gives us the tools, wisdom, and grace that we need.
We need grace. Thankfully, God lavishes us with grace every single day. Just as God told Paul, God also tells us, "My grace is sufficient for you." Notice that God told Paul, "My grace." Since grace belongs to God, we are responsible for going to him for grace. Grace is in the presence of God. Grace is in submitting to God. For this reason, it is essential to walk in obedience to God. As we walk in obedience, God is empowering us with his grace.
God wants us to depend on his grace to get the glory in our lives. Every time we lean on our wisdom and understanding, we will fail every time. But the moment we decide to rely on the sovereignty of God is the moment we decide to live on the winning side. Even if you are good at something, lean on his grace. If you are good at something, imagine what will happen if God's supernatural empowerment exists.
The same grace that saved you is the same grace that will help you do well in school, the same grace that will help you at work, the same grace that will help you overcome temptation, and the same grace that will guide and lead you.
If you have been struggling with seeking God or something specific, it is time to lean on his grace. David understood this because he would always be in God's presence.
Instead of trying to figure things out alone, lean on Him. Rest in His grace. Wait on him and allow him to renew your strength. After all, it's his grace.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for the grace that sustains me. Lord, strengthen me as I look to you for my help. Thank you because I can trust you and always lean on you. Thank you for the grace that saved me and will sustain me.
BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK:
2 Corinthians 12:9
Each time, he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses so that the poChrist's power of Christ can work through me.
